A Long Time Being

Based on rock cliffs on the far South Coast of NSW Australia these beauties could be anywhere. What timeless elements of nature monumental rock forms represent and then to have them set against Tasman Sea is majestic. The process of graphite sketching, photographing and then painting in the studio certainly works better for some paintings more than others and this is one of them.

The colours and textures evoke many thoughts and ponderings for me so I do hope they do for you also. This painting has quite a prescence.
