Baragoot Beach

Great little painting this one, of a rock outcrop in the sand at Baragoot beach on an incredibly hot day. Its become a time capsule of sorts now because within 12 mths of this painting the ocean dumped sand onto the beach which covered all but the tippy top of the rock and so today you wouldn’t know this fantastic rock formation was hiding in the sand. What else lies beneath immediately becomes the question. This fun fact adds to the ambiguity and mystery that I love to capture.
