Barragga bay beach is a small crescent shaped cove stacked with natural wonder. At one end of the beach there are many unusual rock formation at the base of a jutting headland. The rock that inspired this painting is actually quite small but packs some colour and shape. I wanted the painting to put forward the notion of natural beauty but presented in a way that attracts and questions the damage being done to our environment.
