The fifth in a series of paintings inspired by the coastal environment at Beares Beach Bermagui on the NSW far south coast. Endless changing sands and tides make this area a treasure trove for gathering raw material for painting. There is a depth and variety of colour in the rocks not to mention the shapes and arrangements of the rocky elements. The way the outcrops present provides the opportunity to introduce an ambiguity into the painting allowing the viewer more choice in what they see.
