Looking West

This painting came into being from a trip to Beares Beach Bermagui. The actual rock formation is on the back side of the beach where you face west to see it. The colours and light are at times exceptional so this painting captures the very essence of standing in the sand with the Pacific ocean behind you and an incredible rock form topped with native vegetation.
