Central West by Car

When travelling through NSW recently I took photos from the car as it moved along past the paddocks and scenery. One particular old dead tree stood out because there was a brown kite perched on top surveying its district. The tree was none too shabby either, pasted on the grasses of the field all fuzzy and out of focus by the passing vehicle. The rock formation shape was also visible and most unusual in its shape and size. I thought the whole scene would make a great painting. When work began though, as often is the case, the painting began a journey of its own and started to loose the images of landscape and started going into my mind as memories and dreams. It struck me that memories are made of this stuff for all of us and I do hope it conjures up memories for you.
