During 2024 I had to make several trips to Canberra from Bermagui which involves driving across parts of the snowy high country. The landscape is vast with usually dry grass flat land extending into the distance where it meets blue hills. Once you’ve travelled this area you don’t forget it. This painting reflects a portion of the trip as the road unfolded before me.
