Morning Read

Glancing around the studio one day and my eye settled on the fruit bowl in front of a desk easel holding a Helen Frankenthaler art book. With coffee in hand preventing a sketch from forming I put it down on the desk. Next thing you know i’m sketching the scene before me and another still life was born into life.
