Resilience

Resilience comes into play whenever you witness the rocks in the sea. Both powerful elements relentlessly clashing against each other only to be calmed at the next turn of the tide. Endless metaphors and life messages in these coastal scenes. My reason for painting Resilience was to evoke those memories of your trips to the coast or the endless hours spent there should you be fortunate enough to live close by. The specific location for this depiction is Beares Beach but it could be anywhere your imagination takes you.
