Almost a whimsy but not quite. A painting made from some assembled objects on the mantle piece in the studio that caught the light one day. It was a great exercise in a still life painting. First I had the lid down but it looked dull and uninterested in life so lid came up and it sprang to life almost talking to the bottles next door. Pallet knives were used on this piece to help bring the work to an exciting end. Oil painting on plywood board.
