I really enjoyed creating this painting and carving the fruit out with the pallet knife. Once decided on the dark background the colours began to pop. The darks are a combination of Indigo blue, Courbet green and vermilion. Continuously on the edge of balance between representation and expression not always sure of our successful I am with that tightrope.
